This is an apartment unit in Edifício Guaimbé, a brutalist icon of the 1960s signed by architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha.
The original floor plan, flawless, required minor interventions.
Our response to arrange the owner’s home in São Paulo – a Brazilian art director based in NY – was a bold mix of materials and furnishings, as a direct reflection of his personality.
