65 APARTAMENT

LOCATION BUILT AREA YEAR
New York, EUA
410 m²
2008

This apartment is located in an old building in Manhattan, New York.
It was completely remodeled so to fit 4 bedrooms, an office room, a large living room, a dining room and all other service/supporting facilities.
When entering the apartment, one first comes to a hall – all walls and floors covered in wood -, featuring only two wood benches and a pair of lamps designed by Jean Royère.
The all-white hallway ahead leads to the dining room to the left, where a vintage crystal lamp hangs above an oval 1950s Danish dining table, and chairs designed by Sergio Rodrigues. To the right, on the opposite end of the hallway, one comes to the living room featuring two distinct sitting areas – one, somewhat informal, where an L-shaped sofa and a large TV are to be found; and the other, not really formal, but presenting a more sober mood.
The hallway walls feature a white painted wood panel all along – it conceals not only a built-in bar, but also the entrance doors to the children’s and guest bedrooms and the office.
The main bedroom and the baby’s bedroom are accessible from the sitting room.
