QUARTZ HOUSE

LOCATION BUILT AREA YEAR
Sao Paulo, Brazil
585 m²

Casa Quartzo was designed for a Brazilian fashion designer with a vibrant personality, whose work is known for its use of natural materials, neutral tones, and delicate textures.

Reflecting this essence, the architecture of the house unfolds in spacious, light-filled interiors, balancing transparency and opacity, straight lines and curves, geometric planes and organic forms, all immersed in lush gardens.

With an informal and welcoming atmosphere, Casa Quartzo follows a compact program distributed across two floors. On the ground floor, social areas merge into a single open space, where living, dining, and circulation areas flow seamlessly, extending into the garden and towards the pool, and blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.

Upstairs, three suites and the owner’s atelier open to the surroundings always shielded by green curtains—whether vertical gardens or hanging planters — on a continuous dialogue with nature.
