Isay Weinfeld

Located on the ground level of Bogotá’s Urban Plaza building, Jardín de Luzía restaurant features internal space split between the ground and upper floors, and an external area covered by a pergola, located in the building’s courtyard.
On the ground level – a large dining hall without internal divisions – a volume in concrete houses the kitchen and the main counter. A large wooden shelfing unit, suspended by stainless steel rods, separates the staircase area and visually connects both levels in the restaurant.
The upper floor overlooks the external area and houses the second dining hall. Restrooms, offices and a closed kitchen are located in a single volume in concrete that separates patrons from the service and management areas.
